Ventura’s Signature Par-5 sixth hole is not extremely long, but a forced carry over water where a fairway bunker challenges those who want to cut the corner of this sharp dogleg left. Players who attempt to overpower this hole with an aggressive tee shot to this narrow fairway often come to rest in the “jail house” of palms to the right of the fairway. Course management at Ventura C.C. is the real test, the longer you are off the tee, the more difficult the course plays!
