Lone Tree
Your Deal Caddy may come across as an extrovert, but I’m really quite shy about revealing personal info. Today I’m letting my guard down and letting you in on my favorite two-word combo: “unlimited golf,” (followed closely by “free beer”). By all means, share my little disclosure with friends and invite them along for—say it with me now—unlimited golf at Lone Tree GC, including cart and—I kid you not—a draft beer on me. Redeem any day after 2:30 p.m. through June 30 with one of these options:
Option 1, one player—$25, up to 59% off rack rates
Option 2, two players—$40 ($20 per person), up to 67% off
Option 3, four players—$60 ($15 per player), up to 76% off
*multi-player options must be redeemd as twosome or foursome and cannot be broken up into individual rounds.
Naturally, the longer you wait to redeem, the more daylight you’ll have to burn (until June 21, that is, the summer solstice). Then again, there’s no time like the present to play Lone Tree. The course is in peak condition, so expect perfect lies on its runway-wide fairways and pure-rolling putts on the greens.
Lone Tree offers a nice change of pace for those weary of target golf. While holes are bordered by acres of Sonoran sand, it doesn’t take a cross-country flight over forbidding wasteland to reach pay dirt. Friendlier still are the softly sculpted mounds that kick balls toward safety (at least most of the time). If the bump-and-run is your go-to shot, you’ll have lots of chances to showcase it here. A reliable air attack proves handy, too, when you need to carry—or escape—the deep bunkers girding Lone Tree’s swift greens. But what’s most fun is ripping it with the driver, hole after hole, and every yard helps if you are tackling the 6,984-yard black tees.
No doubt about it, Lone Tree is a great place to indulge in unlimited golf. Toss in a free beer, and I can describe this deal in two words: “totally awesome.”
