Kissimmee Oaks
Finding a summer golf bargain in Orlando is like holing a 1-inch putt—anybody can do it. That makes it harder for me to deliver impressive value this time of year, but I think you’ll agree that your Deal Caddy has come through in the clutch today. It took my A-game to land unlimited golf at Kissimmee Oaks GC, including cart and valid any time or day from May 19 through August 4, at these microscopic rates:
One golfer—$15, up to 75% off published prices
Two golfers—$26 ($13 per person), up to 78% off
Four golfers—$40 ($10 per person), up to 83% off
You read it right: All-you-can-play golf for as little as $10. Even by summer standards, that’s flat-out awesome. You’ll get your money’s worth and more at Kissimmee Oaks, named for the century-old hardwoods framing its fairways. Gary Player and Karl Litten teamed up to design the course, which opened in 1986. Water comes into play on 14 holes, forcing you to think your way around the 6,886-yard, par 72 layout. I suggest packing a protractor to formulate the best angles on holes like No. 7, a dynamite “Cape” rendering, and No. 15, a double-bending par 5.
With all those lakes, trees and doglegs, going low is a major feat at Kissimmee Oaks. Unless we’re talking prices. On that score your Deal Caddy makes great value a gimme.
